Isla Fisher May Star in Desperados

Universal Pictures has picked up Desperados, a comedy script from Ellen Rapoport that will act as a potential starring vehicle for Isla Fisher, says The Hollywood Reporter.

The story is set in motion when a woman sends an indignant e-mail to her new beau, who's gone silent after they have sex. When she discovers he's comatose in a Mexican hospital, she races south of the border with her friends in tow to intercept the e-mail before he recovers.

The project has been described as a female-oriented Hangover.

Isla is a supporter, she can't carry a film by herself. And please studio's, The Hangover was a fluke - a very funny well-made fluke. You will not be able to duplicate that with another raunchy screenplay. Don't pitch/bill anything as the next/a female oriented Hangover. It's destined to fail as Mojo says

What I love most about this site, is how it is such a consistent occurence for people to dismiss an entire movie after reading a one sentence plot description.....SHUT UP!!!!! I'm not saying this is gonna be a great movie, but it isn't even made yet. You sound like idiots.
